Two stubborn people. One shared answer.

Gina Gindorf & Geoffroy Farrugia

We founded this company with a shared vision to create exceptional products that make a difference.

Why we made it

We'd both spent years using wireless earbuds like everyone else. And like everyone else, we'd accepted the trade-offs — the pairing failures, the battery anxiety, the compressed sound, the charging cases we left behind. We'd told ourselves it was worth it for the convenience.

One day, it stopped feeling worth it.

Not for one dramatic reason. For all of them at once. The call that cut out mid-sentence. The earbuds dead at 7am. The sound that was technically fine but never quite right. We started asking: what are we actually getting in exchange for all of this?

The answer, honestly, wasn't much.

So we went back to wired. And something clicked. The sound was immediately better. Nothing to charge. No pairing. No lag. We couldn't believe we'd spent years accepting less.

We looked for a product that was built around that choice — premium, intentional, designed for people who listen seriously. It didn't exist. So we built it.

The frustration

Years of wireless earbuds. Years of dead batteries, connection drops, and compressed audio. Two people asking the same question: why are we putting up with this?

The decision

We went back to wired. The difference was immediate. Better sound. Zero setup. Nothing between you and the audio. We started designing what we wished existed.

We built AUDR because we value reliability. We wanted something as simple as wired earphones, but without the compromises. AUDR exists for people who care about quality, trust the things they own, and don't want another item on their to-do list.
